Travel Advisory - RDD 2010

RDD 2010 will proceed as planned.

We are working with our presenters to ensure that the program will take place as planned. Our read is that flights seem to be resuming and by the weekend the travel situation should be better.

Most important: We have been informed by our travel agents that "if you hold reserved seats on flights from Europe to the US at the end of this week, your reservations will be honored. HOWEVER, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to stress that those holding confirmed seats MUST be at the airport at least 3+ hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. It will take longer to check-in and longer to get through airport security. If you arrive late (within 60+ minutes of departure time), the airline can always take your seat according to their own policies/procedures. Due to the current situation in the major European airports, you can bet they will be sticking to their stricter policies/procedures in this regard."

If you are unable to attend, you can:

  • Transfer your registration to a US colleague.
Please email info@rddonline.com with the replacement's name, or
  • We will send the RDD Proceedings and other conference materials by mail. You will receive electronic access to the RDD 2010 articles.
