ApconiX is a team of world-renowned nonclinical toxicology and safety science experts with a wealth of drug discovery and development expertise. We work with clients to provide the advice needed, at the right time to make better decisions on drug safety, from project initiation through to worldwide marketing approval. We have scientists, with over 500 years’ combined experience, covering all major safety disciplines, including inhalation, our own ion channel laboratory and a commitment to advancing the science of drug safety. Our services include target safety assessments, cardiac liability ion channel screening, seizure liability electrophysiology and microelectrode array assays, project toxicology including DMPK, study monitoring, project management and due diligence.

Based on Alderley Park in Cheshire, ApconiX was founded by 3 AstraZeneca colleagues, Dr Richard Knight, Professor Ruth Roberts and Dr Michael Morton. ApconiX is a global business with members of the team based throughout the United States, Canada, Scandinavia and New Zealand.
