Chemo is a sector leader in the research, development and manufacturing of a broad variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and a full range of Finished Dosage Forms (FDFs) for both human and veterinary use in the main treatment areas. Portfolio of over 100 molecules and more than 50 pharmaceuticals, including steroids, antiulcer drugs, hormones, antifungals, prostaglandins, antihistamines, PPIs, respiratory drugs, antibiotics and oral hormonal contraceptives.

Chemo has its own integrated global manufacturing network comprising 5 chemical plants (in Italy, Spain, Argentina and India), 2 pharmaceutical plants in Spain and one in India, as well as 2 injectables plants in Spain, all of which comply with global GMP standards and FDA and EMA quality standards.

Our chemical plants have capacity to undertake chemical and fermentation processes. We also have in-house capacity for lyophilisation and various physical treatments, including micronization, sterile API production, compaction and milling, for example, which are crucial for us to meet our customers' needs. Our plants operate at various scales: laboratory, kilo lab, pilot plant and industrial scale production. Our Finish Dosage Forms for Inhalation Technologies include DPI – Dry Powder Inhalers and SMI – Soft Mist Inhalers.
