JW Marriott Starr PassThe JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa is a fabulous conference venue situated about 7 miles west of downtown Tucson, Arizona, some 2400 feet (730 m) above sea level. The resort is family friendly, sitting within a desert mountain landscape containing a unique mix of saguaro, ocotillo and other desert plants. First-class swimming, golf, and spa facilities are coupled with easy access to restaurants. Mountain hiking and biking trails circle the resort in the hills of the Sonoran Desert. Temperatures at conference time range from about 60°F at night to between 75°and 85°F during the day.

We recommend that you fly into Tucson International Airport, which is about 20 minutes away by car, and suggest taking a taxi to the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa, or using Uber or Lyft, both of which operate throughout Tucson. A taxi to the resort for one person costs approximately $45 whereas an individual Uber or Lyft ride costs about $23. Ride sharing with your colleagues can reduce these costs further.
