Location

RDD 2010 will be held in Orlando, Florida at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.  The Omni Orlando Resort is a fabulous conference venue situated within easy reach of Orlando's theme parks but beyond the hullabaloo. The resort is located 30 miles southwest of downtown and 25 miles from Orlando International Airport. We encourage you to make a vacation of it (our highly discounted room rates are available for 3 days before and after the conference).

The Resort is luxurious, family-friendly, and surrounded by golf courses. First class swimming, golf, tennis and spa facilities are coupled with easy access to offsite restaurants and shops including Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Studios and Sea World. Temperatures at conference time range 65^oF at night to between 75-85^oF during the day.  Conference dress is casual (no suits). 

Getting There

We recommend that you fly into Orlando International Airport. Upon arrival at Orlando International Airport, there are several ways in which you can reach the resort.

• Shared Ride Shuttle Service ($33 round trip). This is the cheapest way of reaching the hotel for individual travellers.  Mears Transportation operates a shared ride van shuttle from each of the terminals. No reservations are necessary as the shuttle departs throughout the day and evening every 20 -30 minutes from Level One. Tickets can be purchased at any of the Mears booths in baggage claim and on Level One. The costs is $33 round trip (adults) and $26 round trip (children ages 4-11). • Taxi (Approximately $75). Taxis are available from Level One. No reservations are necessary. For return reservations please call (407) 422 2222.

• Mears Transportation also offer a Luxury Sedan Service. Enjoy the convenience of being met at the airport by a Mears Representative and transfered via your own vehicle to the Omni Orlando Resort. Reservations can be made online at www.mearstransportation.com or by calling (407) 423 5566 or 1 800 759-5219. Costs for groups of 4 or more people are approximately $84 one way and $153 round trip.

• Travellers may also rent a car and drive to the resort.  Guest parking is available on-site. Self-parking is complimentary while valet parking / overnight parking is $16 per day.
